Shannon & Kevin - Engagement Session

I was happy to meet and photograph Shannon & Kevin prior to their upcoming Summer wedding!  Although these two are certainly friendly, happy people, they both admitted to being a little camera-shy.  I do hear this pretty often and I can relate as I'm not too keen on being photographed myself :)

Kyle & Jennifer - Engagement Session

This session took place back in late November.  Through the craziness of December, I didn't post a lot of blogs.  I was happy with how the images from this session turned out and I wanted to share them with y'all!

I am looking forward to taking more photos of Kyle & Jennifer and their family at their wedding this August!

Jen & Dan - Engaged

I am always pretty pumped when I have people contact me from far-away places to photograph them!  Jen and Dan are from Victoria and we arranged an engagement session in preparation for their wedding that is happening this coming May.

We decided to meet halfway, in Ladysmith.  We didn't have an exact plan of where we were going or what we were doing, but I had talked to Jen a bit and thought I had a pretty good understanding of what she was looking for in their engagement photos (I hope).  

Since Jen and Dan are getting married at the Sea Cider in Victoria,  I thought it would be cute to throw apples into our session.  While I was driving to meet them I thought of the idea of including a bow and arrow - see photos.  Kinda wacky?  Yup, but I think the end result was fun and unique :)

This couple came armed with great outfits and great personalities and I can't wait until the wedding day - I can tell it's going to be a lot of fun!

Brianna & Aaron (& Kayden) - Engaged!

This trio traveled to the Comox Valley from Kelowna to start arranging plans for their wedding that is going to take place here next July.  We set up an engagement session so we could meet each other and take some photos!  I think they would agree that a little practice shoot prior to the wedding will make those wedding photos a little less nerve wracking :)

It was fun having 8 year old Kayden with us to liven up the session too - he especially enjoyed the opportunity to splash Brianna and Aaron :)

It was great to meet you all and I will be looking forward to your wedding day next year as I know it will be a lot of fun!
