Newborns are most certainly among my favorite subjects to photograph. It is amazing when the baby happily sleeps through the whole session! However, 9 times out of 10, that doesn't happen :)
Most of the time a baby will sleep part of the session and be awake for the other part. Once in a while we have a baby that likes to stay awake the entire time. Little Quinn was wide awake for the duration of our 3 1/2 hour session. It is definitely makes things a little more challenging, but still wonderful! It's a good thing that Quinn looks beautiful whether her eyes are open or closed.
