Powsey Family!

If you are preparing for a family photo session and you want to be sure to achieve some unique family photos, take a few tips from the Powsey family.

1.  Let the kids choose their own outfits.
2.  Don't forget to bring bubbles and extra clothes (including cat tails for the kids)
3.  Create your own backdrop using chalk and artistic talent.
4.  Choose a location with sentimental value.
5.  Go with the flow!

When we started chatting about this session, we knew that we wanted to do something a little different and mama stepped up to the plate with some ideas that reflect this fun family.  Becky and her oldest daughter, Iyla, headed to our first spot earlier in the day and created a whimsical drawing that served as a perfect backdrop for the photos!  We also headed out to the Royston ship wrecks where Becky and Matt were married which was a very sweet idea.  Becky and Matt were happy to just let their kids, Iyla and Super Dylan be themselves which was great!

For those of you who don't know, Becky is a talented fine art photographer.  Make sure you check out her Facebook page here.  She has a lot of great work listed there, but she also loves to do custom work.  I recently acquired some of her beautiful images and I am in love with them!

Matt is not only a cool hubby and dad, he also might be able to help you find the perfect vehicle.  If you are in the market for a sweet new ride, go chat with Matt at Hyundai!

Crystal, these photos RULE! This family rules too, I can tell just by the photos.
What a great idea to have the kids dress themselves - it really showcases their little personalities!
LOVE IT!
