Willa & Sophie - Newborn Twins

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to photograph gorgeous identical twin girls, Willa & Sophie.  They were just over 2 weeks old at the time of out photo shoot.  We waited a little bit longer than we had originally intended to plan our session as these precious babes needed a little extra recovery time after a hard delivery.

Willa & Sophie weren't too keen on the idea of sleeping and were both awake during out entire shoot, but that made for some cute little interactions (when they weren't hitting each other in the face:)

In this first photo, it looks like Sophie is telling Willa a secret.  It doesn't get much cuter than that!

I also got the chance to finally use an old scale that I purchased back in the summer.  We set it with each of the girls and I set the scale to read the birth weight of the babies.  At 6 pounds 11 ounces, the girls were exactly the same weight as each other at birth.
